He has agreed to pay $25 million to former customers of the defunct real estate seminar program, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said.

From an article by Harper Neidig for TheHill:

President-elect Donald Trump has reached a $25 million settlement over two lawsuits against his now-defunct Trump University, the New York attorney general’s office announced Friday.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called it a “stunning reversal by Donald Trump,” who had pledged not to settle.

“In 2013, my office sued Donald Trump for swindling thousands of innocent Americans out of millions of dollars through a scheme known at Trump University,” Schneiderman said in a statement.

“Donald Trump fought us every step of the way, filing baseless charges and fruitless appealsand refusing to settle for even modest amounts of compensation for the victims of his phony university. Today, that all changes.”

  1. But you know, Trump thinks if he pays it off he can get this headache off his list!

Let’s not let him get away with it: everyone needs to see what a sham of a human being he is, and how he even tries to pay off afterward, to “salvage” whatever reputation he thinks he has!
