Save the date for the AAUP 2019 Annual Conference on the State of Higher Education: June 12-16, 2019!

Conference highlights include a plenary session on the state of academic freedom, Friday night reception, and an awards and recognition luncheon.

In lieu of paper panels this year, we will organize peer-to-peer sessions in which chapters, staff, and members can share information about topics such as:

o   state-level legislation;
o   shared governance challenges;
o   what’s coming up at the bargaining table; and
o   organizing and member recruitment.

The AAUP’s Annual Conference also includes the annual business meetings of the AAUP, the Assembly of State Conferences, and the AAUP Collective Bargaining Congress.

We anticipate that registration will open in February and will update the conference web page with program and registration details as they are confirmed 

The conference will be held just outside Washington, DC, at the DoubleTree Hotel Crystal City
