This year, the National Security Agency (NSA) is celebrating its 60th year in existence.
To commemorate the anniversary, the agency has produced a book that is in some places referred to simply as an “Anniversary Book” but in other places referred to as a “Memory Book,” which sounds a great deal more sentimental.

Those are the winners of the Miss NSA Contest from some time in the 1960s.
It kind of makes you yearn for those “good old days” when the Cold War threat of nuclear annihilation could co-exist with beauty contests featuring the “girls in the offices.”
Something like Mad Men but with an additional emphasis on the MAD part.
