Survey on Institutional Racism

gray computer keyboard with a blue key showing the word "survey" and a checkbox in between the letters A and DThe Working Group on Institutional Racism in Higher Education, a part of Historians for Peace and Democracy (H-PAD),* is trying to create a repository for accounts of institutional racism and anti-CRT/DEI/woke laws, regulations, and rules enforced in colleges and universities. Our intent is to determine the effects recent waves of hostility have had on higher education.

Will every reader teaching please examine the questions and send your answers and any other comments you have to Al Carroll at institutionalracismsurvey@gmail.com?

Please also repost anywhere you believe appropriate, and pass along to colleagues. Your answers can remain anonymous, or you can give your name and affiliation if you wish your comments to be public.

*AAUP staff made changes on December 11 to the title and image for this blog post, following its publication on December 10, to avoid misrepresenting the survey as an H-PAD initiative.
