Scholars at Risk Conference Livestream

John K. Wilson / June 8, 2016

Today is the start of the Scholars at Risk 2016 Global Congress, “Universities in a Dangerous World: Defending Higher Education Communities and Values” at McGill University in Montreal.

If you are not fortunate enough to be in Montreal in person with us, you can watch a livestream of all the events beginning today at 1pm ET. I will be speaking Thursday at 10:15am as part of a panel on threats to academic freedom in the US and Canada.  The full schedule is here.

Scholars at Risk monitors academic freedom around the world, and reports on global threats to academic liberty. It also works with universities to provide academic refuges for scholars who face persecution in their home countries.
