BY MATTHEW BOEDY

I am the book review editor for Academe. While we continue to have an eager set of reviewers for upcoming issues of the magazine, I am interested in expanding our network of book reviewers. I have a list of books available in both print and digital formats you can choose from to review.

I am currently reading Peter C. Grace’s The Intelligence Intellectuals: Social Scientists and the Making of the CIA. Sounds interesting, right?

Reviews can run up to 1,500 words if needed. Or a set of thematically related books can be reviewed at greater length.

Here are some books that haven’t been claimed yet:

• Knowledge Under Siege: Charting a Future for Universities
• Dames, Dishes, and Degrees: Faculty Wives in America
• Post-Truth’s Assault on America’s Schools and Colleges
• Next-Gen Perspectives on Leadership: Coalitional Strategies for Launching Careers, Renewing Curricula, and Defending Democracy
• The University: A History in Stone, Silk, and Blood
• Campus Speech and Academic Freedom
• From Liberation to Remediation: The Rhetoric of General Education
• The Academy in Crisis: Perspectives on Today’s Challenges in American Higher Education
• Science Under Siege: How to Fight the Five Most Powerful Forces That Threaten Our World
• Of Many Minds: Neurodiversity and Mental Health Among University Faculty and Staff
• Johns Hopkins: The First 150 Years
• A Chance to Solve Their Own Problems
• Higher Education in China: Domestic Demands and Global Aspirations
